Bayside Integrated Transport Strategy

The City of Bayside is planning for our future transport needs.

In order to deal with environmental and social challenges, such as traffic congestion and increasing development pressures, we need to make sure we have the right transport system in place for the future.

That system also has to help create an inclusive, healthy environment underpinned by a strong local economy, and that is reliable, accessible and safe.

Council has now commenced a study – the Bayside Integrated Transport Strategy – which will help guide the development of the Bayside transport system over the next 10 years – with an emphasis on sustainable transport opportunities.

As part of that study we want to hear from you about your vision for the role transport plays in your life and how, together, we can make Bayside a better place.

This website will be your portal for information about the study as it is developed over the next six months. Have a look around, stay in touch and, most importantly, have your say! If you would like to register your interest in being kept informed about the progress of the project, please contact the Integrated Transport Strategy Project Manager, Anna Raftery, in the Urban Strategy Department on 95994444 or email (enquiries@bayside.vic.gov.au).
